Yyyeah. XD;;; It's been, what, two months since my last journal? And I've commented on... one or two things. SO MUCH FOR MY PROMISE TO COMMENT MORE! What can I say, I've been busy. Good ol' classes, eh? I'll try to get more commenting out, I swear!

...*sigh* So many games to find, so many games to beat... <w>;;; I've got at least five in mid-playthrough, right now, PLUS there's the matter of games that I DON'T have that I want to play. Like this old PS1 game called Incredible Crisis... XD It's a wacky little variety game composed of a series of other minigames. The story follows one day in the lives of each member of a Japanese family, trying to survive their everyday lives while simultaneously arranging Oba-san(Grandma. XD)'s hundredth birthday.

I got to play a bunch of it as part of a testing session in Game History/Playability Testing, so I know part of the story... It starts off following the father, Taneo's day. He's your typical salaryman, working endlessly at an office desk, nearly falling asleep as construction work for a statue of Atlas goes on outside. The PA system chimes in, telling everyone to get ready to dance away all that stress! :3 Thus leading us into our first minigame, something like a cross between Parappa The Rapper and DDR. Upon passing this, Taneo's dancing along, paying no heed to the rest of the office fleeing in terror. Turns out there was an accident in the construction of that statue, and the globe has come loose... Not to mention crashing through the wall of the office. XD This leaves Taneo to run Indiana-Jones-style into our next minigame. Simple button-mashing, here. After all the running, Taneo gets into an elevator, thinking that he's escaped. But Murphy couldn't have that, now could he? The globe smashes through the elevator wall where Taneo got on, snapping the cables and sending the elevator plummetting to the ground. MINIGAME THREE! :> More button-mashing and dodging, here, hitting the "STOP THE GODDAMN ELEVATOR!!! >W<" button. :3 Anyway, elevator grinds to a halt, and Taneo thinks he's finally safe. ...OR IS HE!? The globe creeeaks loose and falls down the elevator shaft, smashing into the elevator and causing it to explode, flinging Taneo out into the air. As he falls, he lands on a flagpole jutting out from the building, held up by a mini-Atlas statue. Don't worry, no globes here. XD Instead, you have to keep your balance as you walk back toward the building. Taneo does a little victory wave once he's there, but, as it always happens, the mini-Atlas breaks and sends Taneo falling again. XD He falls through a few of those canopy things, slowing his fall enough to land safely on his feet in front of the building. He does a short victory dance as the doors of the office open behind him... AND THE GLOBE ROLLS OUT! D: Don't worry, he just jumps aside, this time, and points at it as it rolls past. ¦3 He continues his victory celebration a bit before the fist from that flagpole-Atlas falls, landing square on top of his head. One-hit K.O. His day just keeps getting worse, doesn't it? XD

On a final note, my mind is a very... VERY crowded place... >.>;;; On a whim, I recently slapped together a basic list of every character of mine that came to mind... The current count is 74 characters... XD;;; So... Damn... Many... <o>;;;
